Toumani Diabate is taking a new musical road and pushing the boundaries. The present project, features a 50-member big band hailing from Mali, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, and Guinee. Traditional sounds blended with xylophones, drum kits and electric bass and strings. Toumani's kora leads the pack as the group explores new horizons in this astounding and fun release.
