Imidiwan: Companions is the band's fourth release and it possesses all the elements that have made them so magnetic to western ears: raw simplicity, melodic beauty and songs ranging from the epic and universal to the intimate and personal. This release is a bit more mellow and introspective... yet just as charming and groovy. The music CD comes with a DVD which contains a 30 minute documentary... capturing the band members rehearsing and recording, chatting about Tuareg culture and their own music, and doing a few impromptu local gigs.
